2027 Chevrolet Blazer Review, Interior, Specs
2027 Chevrolet Blazer Review, Interior, Specs – In terms of size and price, the three-row Traverse and the smaller Equinox are frequently more popular than it is. It is located halfway between the two cars in question. However, since the Chevrolet Blazer offers several advantages, prominent among them being better handling and performance on the road, buyers should learn more about it.
There are four model levels available, starting with the entry-level four-cylinder LT with front-wheel drive (FWD). With the optional V6 engine, all-wheel drive (AWD), and a non-negotiable $1,900 delivery fee, the Limited Edition’s base price was $42,893. Since it was the least expensive option, I went with this car. Numerous additional bundles and stand-alone options were included in my tester’s purchase, which, before taxes, came to $46,603.

Exterior and Interior
Numerous features are included in the base LT model, such as dual-zone automatic climate control, automatic headlights, heated seats, an eight-way power driver’s seat, an eight-inch touchscreen, and 18-inch wheels. There are also heated seats available. However, the last feature was absent from my tester because to a microprocessor scarcity. On the other hand, retrofitting will be discounted in the future until the chip supply ramps back up.
Standard features included a motorized tailgate, an integrated garage door opener, rear parking sensors, auto-dimming mirrors, roof rails, blind-spot monitoring, and the LT Plus Package. Once the chips are available, the second capability can be implemented as an extra retrofit. To perform this test, the LT’s standard four-cylinder engine was swapped out for a V6 engine, which costs $595 more than the original engine.
If you’re considering the V6 option, have a look at the True North, which is the next tier up. All of the amenities of the LT Plus trim level are included in this trim level, which is only available with a six-cylinder engine. The V6 LT Plus also comes with leather upholstery, leather-wrapped wheels, a motorized passenger seat with six settings, and cargo and floor liners. For this, you should budget an additional $1,410.

Despite having a smaller capacity than many of its rivals, the liftover into the luggage compartment accounts for the vehicle’s 864-liter capacity when the back seats are upright. A few of examples include the Ford Edge’s 1,110-liter trunk and the Honda Passport’s 1,166-liter trunk (without the rear seats folded).
Although the Blazer’s back seats may be pulled down to accommodate longer baggage, its competitors already have an advantage when it comes to transporting heavier loads. The Blazer’s maximum towing capacity varies from 1,500 to 4,500 pounds (680 to 2,041 kg), depending on the engine and trim level. The Blazer can only tow a specific amount of weight if this is not enough space.
There’s also a covered console box and an open cubby to store small items. The front end of the car has these two storage spaces. When a basic mechanical handle may achieve the same result without the need for complex parts like a switch and wiring, it is not always necessary to come up with novel alternatives. The glovebox can be electrically opened by pressing a button on the dashboard. But sometimes the best course of action is to start from scratch.
Engine and Performance
It is the only option for front-wheel drive on the LT and powers the vehicle’s standard all-wheel drive system. For an additional $595, I could upgrade my LT AWD to have the 3.6L V6 engine that is standard on all other trim levels. This option was provided upon request. Because of its seamless strength and the ease of long-term ownership of a non-turbo engine, this is the car I would purchase. 2027 Chevrolet Blazer Review
Even though the front wheels receive the majority of the power, the all-wheel drive system can transfer power to the back wheels for improved traction. The higher trim levels come with an improved system. This system can also swap the power from the left rear wheel to the right one, depending on the circumstances. I typically leave it on and let the system choose the best course of action when I come upon a wet or slick area that requires additional traction. You can select the system; for instance, you can get better gas mileage if you continue to use the front-wheel drive layout. But I’m more likely to keep it enabled than to turn it off.
2027 Chevrolet Blazer Fuel Economy
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) reports that the 3.6-liter all-wheel-drive Blazer ran 9.2 liters per hundred kilometers on the highway and 11.0 liters per hundred kilometers when driving in mixed conditions. The car’s handling performance in various traffic conditions is reflected in these scores. I used it for seven days, consuming 12.9 gallons per hundred kilometers on average.
When combined with all-wheel drive, the four-cylinder engine’s combined rating is 9.9 liters per hundred kilometers. The Chevrolet Blazer is similar to other vehicles in its class despite its poor fuel efficiency. The Ford Edge’s 2.0-liter engine uses 10.1 liters of fuel every hundred kilometers, while the 2.7-liter engine uses 11.2 liters, which is directly comparable to the Honda Pilot’s 3.5-liter V6 engine. 2027 Chevrolet Blazer Review
2027 Chevrolet Blazer Safety Features
The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has given the Blazer a flawless five-star rating for collision prevention. This rating was given during an accident investigation. Numerous helpful extras are included with the base LT trim level, including lane-keep assist, rear-seat reminder, emergency front braking with pedestrian detection, and OnStar-related services. This trim level also comes with the rearview camera, which is now a standard feature on all new automobiles. By choosing the $1,595 LT Plus Package, you may improve your LT to include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic warning. However, this feature is standard on all other trim levels. 2027 Chevrolet Blazer Review
2027 Chevrolet Blazer Price and Release Date
The Chevrolet Blazer is offered in both FWD and AWD configurations; the former starts at $39,398 (including freight) and the latter goes up to $49,498 (before extras). The higher trim levels will likely convey the impression that the Blazer is pricey, despite its generally competitive character. The all-wheel-drive Hyundai Sante Fe ranges in price from $35,964 to $49,854; the Ford Edge ranges from $39,774 to $52,844; and the Honda Passport, including freight costs, is from $47,270 to $53,870.
The Chevrolet Blazer is definitely a car worth looking at, even though it may not make as much money as its siblings, the Equinox and the Traverse. Despite having a smaller interior than some of its competitors, it more than makes up for it with superb driving capabilities and a long list of other benefits. However, if you are not going to use the additional space, there are several advantages. It’s definitely worth considering to give it a try. 2027 Chevrolet Blazer Review
